Peggy Chek is a retired business manager/college history lecturer. She and her husband, Joe, moved here in 2013 from West Virginia, near Pittsburgh. They quickly discovered that the atmosphere of St. James encourages creativity and living your dreams.
Peggy has made and created items since childhood, usually repurposing whatever was available. In 2014 she had a valve replacement and removal of aortic aneurysm. Upon recovery the idea began, to take seashells along with other unused items…jewelry pieces, beads, trinkets, anything that looks interesting into an art form. She believes each piece is a blessing to create into a treasure for you to enjoy.
