I’ve always loved taking pictures and always put them in photo albums. I gradually began to wonder what I could do with the photographs that would make them more artistic. A friend introduced me to Adobe Photoshop in the mid-80’s and I was totally hooked. I started with Photoshop 3 and it was the beginning of a long learning curve which continues to this day.
In the late 1980’s, my husband began to travel over seas for business. Now retired, I went on as many trips as possible and took digital pictures by the score. I continued to learn as much about each version of Photoshop as I could and began making digital collages which I now have printed on canvas and fabric. Creating in my studio - even just for an hour - makes my day. Definition of a digital collage: Combining elements from different digital images resulting in a totally new composition.
