For the past 2 years, the St James Artisans have held monthly receptions on each second Thursday to highlight our Featured Artists. This year we are going to hold new events that follow a seasonal theme. The receptions will all be 5-7pm. We will highlight the work of several 2D and 3D artists. Fourth Friday Art Walks in 2018
The Fourth Friday Art Walks will start up again in March 2018. Along with wine, cheese and music, our Artisans will be set up outside of the galllery to show you their beautiful creations. Here is the schedule for 2018!

Shiver Me Timbers! Save the Date for the Pirate Invasion in October!
October 21st at 2 pm there’s going to be a pirate invasion of the St James Community Center. Step into a time when pirates roamed the seas. Visit a bustling NC seaside harbor. Experience the arts and crafts of that era, hear music and songs, listen to two “pirate scholars”, explore woodcuts, painting and treasures. Be a best-dressed pirate and win a prize!
Ticket sales ($10 each or 2 for $15) will begin on Friday night, August 24, at the Art Walk at the Artisan Gallery in St James and will be available in the Gallery thereafter, as well as Ricky Evans.
Workshop: Website Design For Your “Visual” Business - Monday, September 17 If your business is fine arts, woodworking, furniture refinishing, landscaping, custom closets, etc. that are best sold through visual marketing this course is for you!! Set for Monday, September 17, 2018 from 1 – 4 pm at the St. James Community Center, it is an introduction to the different webhosting choices for creating a website to showcase your visual hobby or profession. The course also covers various marketplace sites. Your instructor, Caroline Quinn is an IT professional, and has had a diverse 35 year career in Information Technology and Marketing. Please bring your laptop or tablet if at all possible.
Class size is limited to 12 students and the fee is $40.00 payable to Stepping Up For Arts (SUFA).
