Nancy Schulte has studied art with many nationally known watercolor artists over the past 30 years. Knowing the importance of finding ways to express herself, she continues to take workshops yearly. Sharing her ideas and enthusiasm for art has led to teaching since 1992. Nancy developed an art space at Camp Sunshine-a camp for kids with cancer. Several years ago she taught residents at Dosher Nursing Center and now the residents at Carillon Assisted Living. Tuesday Evenings are reserved for lessons in her studio. “All these students have contributed to my growth and enthusiasm for art.”
Most of the time Nancy paints in watercolor on various services. However she does do some oils and collage work. Flowers, still life, landscapes, animals and architectural studies are all included in Nancy’s repertoire. However her favorite subject matter is people. “Being a wife, mother, grandmother and RN, have given me deep appreciation for life. It is imperative for me to record everyday happenings in a sensitive manner. I want to evoke emotion. I’m deeply blessed and grateful to share my talent with others.
You can find Nancy’s work in public and private places. Neil Diamond is her most famous collector. Her work is displayed in the Artisan’s Gallery and Associated Society of Southport. Her Gallery is posted on Facebook. She accepts commissions, and you may email her at: firstname.lastname@example.org
